I’m not a Disney princess
With my head up in the clouds
I won’t wait for a prince
Won’t wait to be wowed

Cinderella is the first one
On the stair, she lost her shoe
How clumsy do you get?
Did she lose her mind too?

Snow White was a silly one
She lived with seven men
And then she was resurrected
By this guy that looked like Ken

Ariel, she made some mistakes
Like making her daddy mad
And trusting an 8 tentacled woman
Now really, that’s just sad

Aurora had three fairy guardians
But still managed to prick her finger
Then along came prince charming
On her lips his kiss did linger

Jasmine was a tough one
She started out pretty cool
Then met a boy and genie
And just jumped into the pool

Now Belle she is my favourite
I guess hairy was her choice
When she first met the beast
The beauty lost her voice

And now I’ll tell you more
Again I will repeat
I’m not a Disney princess
To be drawn upon a sheet

I won’t wear a fancy dress
Won’t put on a pretty crown
If you call me princess
All I’ll do is frown

So don’t sit here waiting for your prince
The road is long and wide
Don’t become a Disney princess
Pushed over to the side
