Hand in hand we walk through the snow
Warmly shielding each other from the cold wind that blows
Our boots crush the ice that lies beneath our feet
As we silently march down the cold white dead street
Our frozen cheeks turned a frosty red
Longing to cuddle up in our lovely warm bed
We arrive at our home and warm ourselves by the fire
Holding each other tightly as our bodies grow tired
In candlelight we sit and listen to a ghastly howl through the tree's
Wishing to be nowhere else our minds calmly at ease
We curl up on the couch and I lay my head on his chest
His relaxing slow heartbeat puts my body to rest
I slowly reach upwards and kiss his loving warm lips
It sends a tingle down my spine and flows through to my fingertips
I slowly start to fall asleep in his big loving strong arms
I grasp his fingers tightly whilst he stokes my hair with his palm
I watch the flame on the candle quietly flicker and fade
But yet we decide to remain where we lay
We fall into a blissful slumber together and visit the fantasy plain
And I can't wait to awake in the morning just to see him again
